A new Youth in Action project have been run by YMCA Romania! 17 partners from various countries have met in Baia Mare, Romania for a study visit dedicated to Youth Centres. 6 -13 february 2010.
The project addresses the need of youth organizations to have a space for organising permanent activities within the community they engaged to serve.
What we plan is a study visit at a Youth Centre that functions and is administrated in a sustainable way in the benefit of the youth and the local community.
In this context, we have invited volunteers and staff (two per country) who are actively involved in their organization in different European Counties to discuss about sustainable ways for the functioning of a Youth Centre.
