A Youth in Action Project.

Adventure With Happy End was an 8-day outdoor programme for youth workers and youth leaders aged 16-30, aiming to explore social inclusion and environmental protection through the concepts of eco-ethic, project management and outdoor adventure, all built up onto experiential education basics. As result, by the end of the project the participants will create plans for eco-outdoor facilities and their own eco-activity project draft that they will realize at home.
The program developed a great amount of adventure education and learning through experience, such as rock climbing, expedition into the wilderness, group planning, exploration with an emphasis on environmental goals, social inclusion techniques and emotional commitment, using eco-ethical attitudes. Workshops will be held in smaller intercultural working groups with the methodical of acting, experiencing and reflecting.
During the exchange the participants were practicing:
- leadership
- planning
- cooperation
- communication
- organization
- understanding your own personal working style
- flexibility
- working in international groups
- creating new contacts with who works in the same or similar area as yours
